What People's Say About Place

Incredible pasta, perfect texture, flavor, and ingredient mix. I had read a lot about this place and went with some expectations, but I never imagined it would be this good. We had the Campanelle pasta, and it was our absolute favorite, I’d go back just to eat that dish again, the combination of blue cheese, almonds, and green beans is simply amazing, the pasta texture is spot on, and the portion sizes are generous. You can tell the quality from the very first bite. We even got to chat briefly with the owner, you can feel his passion and experience in every plate, he truly loves what he does. Just remember to get there early, since the place is small and fills up fast. Also, you can bring your own drinks (alcohol or soft drinks), which is awesome, pair your pasta with whatever you love, without paying extra. Flour Power is a must, that's all.

Had been meaning to check this place out for awhile and lucked out with the daily pasta the day we were passing through Chicago. Can’t beat a bolognese. Focaccia went crazy too, the well-done undercarriage dipped in what remained of the sauce was probs the best part of the entire experience <33

I went here for my birthday dinner and it was amazing. So much love, time, and thought put into every single dish. I love how small and quaint the restaurant is & the efforts that were poured into this meal. Everything we ate had layers of flavor that were put together very well. We will be back!

Absolutely above and beyond everything I expected, I was told to eat here at Busch Gardens in Tampa lol made the trip to Chitown and our group was absolutely blown away! Every course was outstanding, service, flavors, you name it! I can’t wait to return next year, delicious! I couldn’t put 10 stars or I would have.

This is my favorite place to eat out in all of Chicago, and for many reasons. This is your spot for the absolute best pasta in all of Chicago! The quality and flavor of the food is beyond what many restaurants can provide. The chef pays attention to every single detail and you can tell he pours his heart and soul into what he makes. Love this spot!

I’ve been wanting to try out this spot for ages and am so glad to have finally snagged a pickup window on Friday. It did not disappoint and is worth the hype. The pasta is fresh, flavorful, and the value is good— all this quality food for ~$25 per person total (solid compared to nearly every other pasta restaurant in the Wicker/West Town area). It’s clear the level of thought and detail that goes into the dishes and into the design of each day’s different daily pasta dishes. I love the concept of different pastas and shapes each opening day. Our pickup order was for 6:45pm, and despite the long lines, it was pretty punctual. The inside is super small with just 4 squished tables (and it was also super hot), but I hope to return one day to try the dine-in BYOB experience. Food I tried: - Focaccia with Whipped Ricotta and Honeycomb (4.5/5): This came with a sizable hunk of soft and crispy foccacia which was delicious with the fresh ricotta and honeycomb. - Campanelle (daily pasta) with tuna, olives, pomodoro, mandarin olive oil (4.5/5): This tasted very fresh with a welcomed “fishy” flavor. - Lumache with Spicy Vodka Sauce (4.6/5): Not really spicy, but super creamy and flavorful nonetheless. Really enjoyed this one.

A special little spot in Chicago with truly delicious food. Thoughtfully chosen ingredients and beautifully executed dishes. The MEATBALL!! Is to die for - it must not be missed. I recommend ordering the focaccia with burrata and honey, as well as trying the daily pastas - they’re always excellent. The vodka sauce is also one of the best I’ve had. Just really, really good food. (And good music)

One of my absolute favorite pasta joints in the city. Chef makes everything daily from scratch, and the pastas always rotate. The focaccia and burrata with honeycomb is a staple that’s always on the menu- FOR A REASON! I can’t even describe how good that bread is. It’s BYOB and come early if you want to snag a table- it’ll be worth it. Chef is very kind and helpful with deciding what to order every time we visit.
